CubeSat


Stands for "Cube Satellite". This team is under the AFRL's University Nanosatellite Program (UNP), and researching how to mitigate liquid propellant sloshing. There are three subsystems: Mechanical, Electrical and Software+Integration.

STARRT


The Space Technology Association at Rutgers Robotics Team (STARRT) is the newest project under STAR. This team is focused on building a rover for the Nasa Lunabotics Competition, which must be able to: traverse a simulant lunar landscape, excavate lunar regolith, and construct a berm to protect sensitive equipment from takeoffs and landings. It consists of the Mechanical, Electrical, and Software subteams.

Weather Balloon


This team designs, builds and launches payloads every semester. These have reached over 80,000 ft!! Each payload collect various data about the atmosphere and records its flight with cameras. It is split between Structures and Software
